The image above is reportedly a screenshot from a unannounced upcoming Prince of Persia title. The screenshot was posted earlier today by a user on the official Ubisoft forums, if you note the bottom of the picture a line of text is written that says POP_ZERO_2.
This line of text is important, as back in 2010 a reboot of the series was supposedly in development under the codename Prince of Persia Zero, and was apparently going to change the series dramatically, the project was thought to have been cancelled during the same year as it was said to be too similar to the Assassin Creed games.
Ubisoft has yet to comment on the rumours that the image is from an upcoming unanounced Prince of Persia game, so for now that’s all they are, rumours, we will keep you update as we learn more so keep checking back.
